The NHS spends more on diabetic footcare in England than the combined cost of breast, prostate and lung cancers; with over 90% of expenditure relating to ulceration.

Having a foot ulcer can have a huge impact on someone's health and wellbeing.  Diabetic foot ulcers are preventable, and even 75% of recurrent ulcers could be avoided.  

In this country there are over 180 diabetic foot related amputation each week! 

The team at DUET diabetes are on a mission to play their part in improving these statistics –  together we can make a difference!

Having developed and run our ‘diabetic foot screening’ workshop for over 3 years and latterly adapted it to be delivered as live and interactive webinars, we have further evolved our training so that ‘would be learners’ can access the content in their own time.  This is in response to those who want to either up skill or refresh their knowledge but are unable to attend the live sessions.

Mini modules series
These are ‘bite sized’ modules providing the same content as our live webinar workshops.  These consist of a pre-recorded session led by Gemma Andrews, downloadable supporting documentation relating to the session and separate film clips for the demonstrations shared within the main session of each module.
